Klaus Richter

Klaus Richter studied Cello with Rolf Döhler at the "Hanns Eisler" music college in Berlin.

Since 1987 he works as a freelance musician in Berlin at theaters and orchestras.

Since 1991 Klaus Richter directs chamber music ensembles. He has managed concert tours in Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, Russia, Asia, North Africa.

1997-2000 Klaus Richter was the artistic director of the Gesellschaft für innovative Bildungsplanung und -förderung mbH (Company for Innovative Educational Planning and Promoting Ltd.).

He was founder and manager of chamber music festivals in various German Laenders and of symphony concerts in Berlin (Philharmonie), Brandenburg and Bavaria as well as tours.

Since 1999 Klaus Richter is artistic director of the "Kröchlendorff Castle Winteracademy" with mastercourses and music seminars.
