Bildungs- und Seminarzentrum Schloss Kröchlendorff

Schloss Kröchlendorff

The Kröchlendorff Castle,

in the heart of the picturesque natural park area ``Uckermark Lakes Landscape``, was built in 1848 by the freelance architect Eduard Knoblauch, having been commissioned by Baron Oscar von Arnim. The impressive building, surrounded by the Peter J. Lenné designed park, was carefully restored and serves, since 1996, as the Educational and Seminar Center for OUTWARD BOUND.

The castle, through Klaus Richter organized Chamber Music Festival, has become known to a greater public spectrum. Since 1997, many international and German musicians have gathered together here, making the festival a permanent part of the musical life in the Brandenburg Region.

The Kröchlendorff Castle is used, through the organisation of the "Akademie- & Konzertbüro Richter" , for music seminars and master classes for young musicians and students, as well as choir and orchestra rehearsals over a period of a few days.
